Pathfinders and other Guides to Resources

Below you will find links to a variety of pathfinders and other guides that I have created to help students and other researchers find materials. Some of these were created during my co-op at Queen's Education Library in Kingston, Ontario. Others were created out of particular interests that I have in history, philosophy, French culture and the political sciences.

Pathfinders made for Queen's University's Education Library

The following Pathfinders I had made during my time at Queen's Education Library. They cover two specific subject areas that I have had some experience with during my professional life before studying to become a Librarian.

Pathfinders on Historical topics

I completed a Bachelor of Arts in History. Here are a couple pathfinders that I created for Canadian history: specifically the 1837 rebellion in Upper and Lower Canada.

Political Science...

The current political climate in the United States has lead to a great degree of partisanship and maybe not enough listening on either side of the political divide. To better understand the political divide for the politically committed and the undecided alike I have created a pathfinder for the principle forays in to the debate on the various aspects of the left/right, conservative/liberal, Democrat/Republican divide in the United States looking at how each side approaches the most divisive, and arguably most important issues of the day.

Philosophy

I have had an interest in Philosophy since highschool. In the last year of undergrad I took what has turned out to be my one and only philosophy course at university: a graduate seminar on the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.
